The Farley family would like to take this opportunity to thank all of their friends and colleagues from the aviation world for the all the wonderful help, kindness and support shown to them since losing John last September. We launched the John Farley Memorial Fund in John's memory, as he wanted to give disadvantaged young people the chance to experience flight and also, for a chosen few, the chance to gain their Private Pilots Licence through a Flying Scholarship. We have spent the last few months working hard with this. We would like to announce that the first Scholarship has been achieved (though not yet awarded), so please put your hands in your pockets and let the money fly in for the next one. The Farley family will be working to promote John's Fund at some airshows - as visitors for the time being - and in local shops, etc. Please let us know if you would like to help, or wish to have a collecting box.
