After Johns funeral on 3rd October 2007, we had a mass release of balloons. Each balloon had a tag with our contact details and a number on. Everyone who had helped and donated to the Fund was allocated a number so that we could run a competition, the winner being the balloon that travelled the furthest (and also a lucky dip for those that did not travel so far). The top prize was a flight in our Miles Messenger once completed. The photo to the right shows some of the balloons at the point of release.

The following balloons were sent back to us:

Balloon Number 52 - Alasdair Anderson - WINNER!
